What's Cooking? Wednesday - Radish Saute
Hi All!
What's cooking with you this week? Typically Wednesdays are not my favorite day to do any cooking, but for you I'll make an exception.
I have an abundance of radishes, even still. That's what you get when you plant 4 rows of them. But the question becomes, what to do with these delicious, spicy radishes.
Answer? Radish Saute, of course!
So, let's take you to the recipe:
Radish Saute
-2-3 cups of whole radishes
-8 oz. of mushrooms
-1 green bell pepper
-Italian seasoning
-Salt & Pepper
-Thinly slice radishes and cut slices into sticks. Thinly slice mushrooms and cut bell pepper into sticks.
-Set your pan over medium heat and warm up about 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
-When the oil is hot, add your vegetables and cook for about 10-12 minutes or until soft. Season with salt and pepper, to taste, and give a dash of Italian seasoning for color.
Yield: 2-3 very generous servings.
Bada-bing - Radish saute is made! Make a great accompaniment to many dishes. Enjoy :)
Check in later for the next garden installment.
